How to heal yourself KIngdomhearts Birth By Sleep?

Hey guys i recently bought KH: BBS (obviously) and i cant figure out how to heal. I dont know if i missed it in the tutorial but im currently at sleeping beauty's world. Iv gotten a few ethers( Are they used to heal) But i cant figure out how to use them.
