My son gets frustrated with crawling...?

My son 8 and a half months and he just starting doing the whole rocking thing. He too will get frustrated when he falls but instead he will plant his face on the ground and push is up in the air and push forward. He looks like a inch worm! Thank god I put a blanket down or he will have rug burn all over his face. But my friends son took him a couple of weeks at the most to crawl. He will get soon and then he will start crying when you won't let him play with something he isn't supposed too have. Good luck!
