Should the Madeleine fund be used to pay for the McCanns legal costs?

The McCanns spokesperson has confirmed that the McCanns will be using the Madeleine fund money to pay for legal costs in the battle to clear their names and that they are hoping to use the legal team that Pinochet used to fight extradition to Chile. I am OUTRAGED that the money sent in by caring, sympathetic people to help IN THE SEARCH for Madeleine should be used in this way. It is MORALLY and ETHICALLY wrong. There is an internet petition doing the rounds and I sincerely hope that everyone whether for or against the McCanns will sign it as this is simply arrogance gone way too far.
